The size of the sandwiches here at West Juliette is enormous.
Overall, I liked the casual atmosphere and the comfy vibe of the cafe. However, it appears that we somehow managed to pick two of the least appetising dishes on the menu – both dishes were a hit-and-miss for us. The only reason why I am considering coming back is so that I could try their hand cut royal blue chips that looked extremely alluring.

What I loved: The portion of the sandwich – value for money.
Will I come back: Maybe.
The menu.
Haloumi, grilled eggplant, tomato, spinach, mint, sesame, $12.9. The haloumi was yummy, and I liked how they had kale in their salad mix.
It’s nice to have a haloumi sandwich as a vegetarian option, I’m sure L would agree.
A close up of the haloumi. The thick-cut miche (the type of bread) is dense and very filling. Unfortunately, I found it quite bland.
Breakfast plate of leg ham, ricotta, avocado, poached egg, tomato, toast, $16.9. This felt like a rip-off compared to the sandwich in terms of portion and the ingredients.
I couldn’t fit in any of these desserts after my sandwich (and Mike simply didn’t want to have any of these because he was disappointed with his breakfast plate). Luckily, Cow and The Moon is nearby so we went there for a scoop of the world champion gelato.
Cute merchandise.
