I heard about this amazing crepes cafe in Mosman that’s always packed with a long wait. It has a very interesting name, called Four Frogs. I got very excited and looked it up online last weekend – turned out, there’s now one in Randwick as well!
Randwick is much closer and more convenient than Mosman for us, and luckily, there was no queue when we went on a Sunday early afternoon.

What I loved: The crepes. The French cider.
Will I come back: Yes.
The fit-out of Four Frog’s Randwick is quite simple. It doesn’t have any of the urban/warehouse/industrial elements. It’s just a casual neighbourhood cafe with no frills.
They use their menu as place mats. One column for savoury; one column for sweet; and one column for drinks. The space on the far left is their story of how four French men realised that there were no decent crepes restaurants in Sydney and decided to lead a crepes revolution, and created Four Frogs Creperie. Bless them.
Spinach, feta, mushroom & avocado galettes, $14. Amazing stuff! I especially loved the crispy edges of the galette (savoury crepe), and the aroma of the feta. Also, their galettes are made with home-milled Australian buckwheat flour, and each comes with a bowl of salad. Bonus points for being health-conscious and facilitating guilt-free eating.
Mike’s Ham, swiss cheese, egg & spinach galette, $14.50. You get to choose how well you want your egg to be, Mike chose runny.
I ordered a “glass” of Ecusson rose cider (3% alcohol, 200ml), $6. I loved it! It’s very flavourful and not overly sweet.
There is also a 750ml bottle for $22.
It’s not a big place – only a few tables on the inside and some on the walkway.
Of course, our meal wouldn’t have been complete without having some sweet crepes. We got the Coconut ice cream & home made dark Belgian chocolate sauce (single), $11.
I didn’t know what to expect because I deliberately avoided ordering my usual favourites (the ones with strawberries or banana). Luckily, I was quite impressed by it. The chocolate sauce was especially delightful.
Basically, everything that I ordered today was flavoured “just right” – not too sweet, not too salty, not too light, not too rich. In other words, perfection (in a French accent)!
Four Frogs Randwick is located right opposite the local Ritz Cinema. Their movie deal definitely looks like something we would be interested to try on our next date in the area.

hi! i sent you an invite to the 6th annual food bloggers picnic, did you get my email?
Hello! No I didn’t get it? Sounds like fun, can you please re-send me one hehe.
I am so glad I have visited Four Frogs Creperie; I will never forget their crepe suzette – it was literally served flambé in front of me! The service was excellent as well, but I ain’t had the chance to taste their savoury galettes! Next time I will do, for sure!
