This unassuming van at Triabunna, The Fish Van, gave us most satisfying meal in Tasmania.
The menu.
That’s one happy customer. I knew we had struck gold as soon as they handed over these good old-fashioned (and environmentally friendly) paper cones full of perfectly crumbed goodies.
We got one Prawn and Squid Box (2 x prawn twisters, 2 x prawn cutlets, 3 x salt & pepper squid, 3 x squid rings & chips), $12, and a Tackle Box (1 x fish, 2 x seafood bites, 2 x squid rings, 1 x crab stick, 1 x salt & pepper squid & chips), $12.
Crunchy and golden on the outside, fresh and hot on the inside. I am literally salivating just looking at these photos now…
Fresh chilled Pacific Oyster.
The cray roll we got for dinner came with a soft bun filled with generous crayfish meat and salad.
